A Life of Service and Hard Work
Born in Pueblo, Colorado, Vic is a 101st Airborne Army veteran with a B.S. in Mathematics. He spent over 17 years in corrections work in Colorado, where his offenders consistently had higher success rates than other case managers. He taught middle school mathematics in Walsenburg and served on the Trinidad School District 1 school board.
Vic has been a union member throughout his career, fighting for workers' rights and fair treatment. He's married to Kelly for 32 years, has three children, and six grandchildren. He's worked as a farmer, electrician, framer, and in armed security—always with the same dedication and integrity.
He understands the real challenges facing real people because he's lived them.
